It’s not just about the words themselves or even their objective truth; it’s about the meaning they hold for you; what they invoke and evoke within you, and how personal and intimate they feel on a visceral level. The words must move you deeply, eliciting powerful emotions that resonate with your essence. For them to be your currency, they need to reflect your own experiences, stories, and beliefs. Their significance doesn’t require validation from anyone else; it’s enough that it makes sense to you. You never have to justify what you consider your spiritual currency. No one else needs to understand, agree with, or approve of it.

 

There is a mechanism inside you - your unique way of believing and thinking - that makes your spiritual currency work for you. The words are words, and perhaps in and of themselves they do nothing. But combined with the faculty of faith, they become something more. An inner alchemical process transforms the base substance of words into something unique that has never existed before. The spirit of the words combine with the spirit of you, creating something greater than the sum of its parts. In other words, you are not magical because of the words; the words are magical because of you.
